Where should I scout at the Berlin like wildlife area

What areas should I go to and where should I stay away from

I would recommend the woodland areas and avoid the roads but considering that in NE Ohio there's a Booner behind almost every tree shouldn't be to hard.

That area sees a lot of hunters - has a nice archery range - live 5 minutes away but never hunted it - just too crowded for me - just my 2 cents

I was think about hunting some of the property away from the archery range any Imitation down those areas if I can I will find the name of the road for you

Welcome Kaleb. You might get some better responses by telling us a little about yourself and how you plan to hunt. Prior experience and skill sets also.

An experienced guy with a traditional bow doesn't want to hear about how to hunt. While the new guy with a crossbow trying to kill his first deer wants to hear everything. While both guys will learn the most by putting boots on the ground around March.

Some years ago the area where the archery range is at was a high dope area and some bodies were droped there . The state closed the boat ramp and blocked off the road. Since the range and dog training areas were put in its much nicer

I have seen some deer on the path to the dog training area and found some beds in that back dog field when I was there’s a hunting are the deer back there fair game?

Check out the leffingwell rd and Berlin station road areas. Do some walking around and check those areas out. Lots of deer have been taken over the years.
It does get some pressure but you can use that too your advance.

I’ve had my best luck on the left side of Sand Hill Rd, when heading east. Just before getting to the north jog in the road.
