Where to eat?

There is nothing here in Ashtabula. If you want good food you have to drive to Mentor or Erie, PA. One place my wife and I take my daughter is "Melts". The sandwich's are freaking huge and ask for their special ketchup.

Any of you guys ever go to the Hotdog Shoppe in Warren Ohio?! By far the best dogs in Ohio or Michigan for that matter. If we stop in we usually get 2 dozen extra with chili and cheese to take home. Take a few for lunch at work, eat a couple for dinner and put a few in the freezer for the next week! LOL good stuff!

There's one in Girard right off of 80 on route 422.... And he's best hot dogs around bar none...

Nice, looks like it's a little different than the one we've been to. Might have to check them out if we pass by there this summer.

Just ate at the winking lizard Saturday evening . Wish we had one close . Nearest one is about 30 minutes away .. Way better than B dubs

My bad Chuck, that's JibJab that's there not the hotdog shop.... Still if you get a chance stop and try it you won't be disappointed.....

Well I'm back in Dallas tx this week. If you ever get a chance you go to Lockharts bbq.

Best brisket I promise.

If any one is ever around Amherst be sure to make time for the brew kettle. Unbelievable food and brew.

Dave, found a place right up your alley that shouldn't be too far for ya! Look up Plain Folks Cafe located in Pleasant Plain Ohio off St RT 132. Saturday night we had a nice meal and listened to a blue grass band out of C-bus, Fox and Hound! Good food and entertainment! Check out their menu online.

They have a great review on Yelp. Gonna try their breakfast one of these days!

Somehow ended up with a night with no kids! I'm stuck at work for a little while but thinking about this place.

Wtf kind of Hippie do you think I am Ric?! Lol, food is good here at Plain Folk. Music is top notch picking and a grinnin! Beer is cold, people are friendly. By far the best music I've heard in a while, but if you ain't into hippie shit, stay away from this place.

Theres a place like that, that makes all kinds of toppings to put on hotdog. Its called Senate. My friend told me to check it out. Its in cincinnati.
