Thanks Ric. I’m planning on doing one soon for my living room. I got nowhere to put the whiskey up so that’s be perfect for my living room.
All done and filled respectfully hahaha
It’s not in its final resting place but it’s better than cluttering up our garage gathering dust. Lol

How much was the Blantons? It’s north of $130 here in NJ.All done and filled respectfully hahaha

It was $30 two years ago….then went up to $75, then $100 and now $130….that’s if you can find it. When I was in north central Pennsylvania last month I stopped by a couple of the state liquor stores up there looking for the “hard to find” stuff. It was hard to find up there too!$65

I wasn't impressed the first time o tried it, need to break it out again for another try. It was too subtle for my liking. If i don't like it and you are at the summer gathering i could bring it.
Finally had time to recondition the barrel my wife had etched for me in commemoration of my retirement with the USPS. Removed bands, sanded staves, replaced bands and secured with painted SS rivets then sprayed on 3 coats of polyurethane.
Awesome tribute too a long career…. Enjoy your retirement, buddy!
