I chuckle sometimes to myself when talking to people and wonder why people say certain things different when talking about different things.
Example, I call deer ages
Fawn
Yearling
2 year old
3 year old and so on
Same as if I was talking about my dog, kids or myself.
But when it comes to deer most will say 2.5 year old....once that deer reaches yearling it get to live in .5 year old status all year every year. Makes me chuckle. People here can guess the inches with 2" but can't change a deers age or just call him 3

Cracks me up on the inside. I used to do it too but now if you see me say it. Know im laughing. Hahaha.
