Why I miss the military.

I had a lot of fun while in... I miss the friendships mostly though. This website reminds me of the military, maybe that's why I stuck it out through my initiation...lol

Something about body armor and kevlar helmets tends to keep you from getting hurt while doing stupid shit.
 
Kids at play. Years ago when I shot high powder one of the gals that was rather chesty was shooting a AR and one hot ejected case went done between her boobs. She never stopped shooting and she showed us the red case burnt mark on her boob. Tough and good looking gal.

Plenty of us on TOO that survived. Not sure on mortality rates, but it doesn't seem ridiculously high considering the number of people who go thru.

Sad thing is, before I retired it got too the point they tried too make everything so safe as if it would stop the stupid.... Gene pool needs cleaned out every once in a while lol....
