One room carpet, one hardwood, one ceramic so we got a little of everything. My son has all hardwood and he said he’d never go back to a standard vacuum again.

Yeah, my buddy Nate had the dog mess happen when he first got his. I think I would’ve just burned the house down and started over.
My parents don’t know what year this house was built, it was before deeds. Pretty cool to see the old construction has outlasted the new crap. Efficient though, it is not!

We have one. We can use it in certain rooms but it gets stuck under couches and end tables and transition from one floor to the next in others. It will go over rugs and places that are surprising but get hung up in spots that make me wonder how it happened....when they come out with rear wheel assist it would be amazing....
Efficient, yes but having a house too tight I’ve never been a fan of. Drafts can be a good thing helping turn the air over in the house. Most of the old timers liked drafty homes. And like you said Dave, their works are still up and weathering the storms....
That was one of my concerns as well. The transition from hardwood too carpeting more so then any other transition.
