I did as well... I think I would of body slammed then drug out the two knuckleheads that tried too disrupt it.....

Yes it was good. Was great to hear and see them remind all that there are really other 'options' out there rather than disarm the whole country. Like how they showed the media how slanted and biased they really are and how they are partly responsible for what's happened.

Hmm...liked what the NRA had to say but the emotional crazy train of uninformed, logic lacking fucktards has already left the station and the train gets bigger as our Country gets older. The reaction I am seeing is "how dare you defend your gun rights while this tragedy continues". They can't decipher that 2nd amendment supporters are being attacked from all sides.

Yea. This is the headline on Huffington Post. (I use aol email)

"NRA Delivers Defiant Speech"

(Here Lundy)

de·fi·ant
adjective
characterized by defiance; boldly resistant or challenging:

de·fi·ance
noun
1.
a daring or bold resistance to authority or to any opposing force.
2.
open disregard; contempt (often followed by of ): defiance of danger; His refusal amounted to defiance.
3.
a challenge to meet in combat or in a contest.

I would have never put the headline as a defiant speech. I would have called it, "NRA Delivers Common Sense and Practical Solutions".

Funny. The reaction I was talking about is the general folk. My wifes FB makes me want to beat people with the history books they apparently didn't read. Trying to educate but it is hard to trump emotion...

I know. I've banned myself from the Dick's Sporting Goods FB page, due to all the ignorance and the fact that I want to strangle people!

I tried giving them crap, but there are just so many ignorant people on there, that I just gave up. It is truly stupidity at its finest.

Its all a little too much for me right now. Everyone needs to step out of the house and take a walk before fighting over this. I thought they could have handled their statement a bit differently. I am not quite how they could have done it better, perhaps have someone else deliver it or not be so aggressive. The issues behind these shootings are quite complex and may change slightly situation to situation. To me they said it is due to everything else and we're all good over here at the NRA.

This admin isn't afraid of the nra anymore and the last election will give them even more inertia.

I don't know how much more polarity this country can hadle. The lack of coming across the isle will fuck this country.

Obama has nothing to fear from the NRA, hes run his last election. But there's some senators and even more congress critters that have plenty to fear.

IF accurate, I guess his issues are beyond my nephew. Nonetheless, the tiny fraction of common sense I have tells me "Do NOT ever teach this kid how to be proficient with a weapon." Take him outdoors. Take him fishing. Take him hiking. Split firewood together. Don't educate someone lacking social skills and a full mental capacity in weaponry. The failure here was not the guns. The failure was his mental state and his mother's severe lack of judgement.
