these images are too crazy to be real, but they are, 11 years ago in Raleigh 3" of snow caused people to lose their minds. The lady driving this car was determined to get home, to the point that she spun her tires until they caught on fire. This is winter in the south.

I spent a winter working in NC and Tn. I think it was in ‘93-94. A friend that lives in TN but grew up here claimed to miss snow. That year, there was more snow down there than here…. And those people NEVER did figure out how to drive in it! A mere dusting in middle TN is apocalyptic!

I live in TN and they are expecting 6 inches of snow tomorrow and schools are closed as well as stores despite nothing on the ground yet. I grew up in Ashtabula and I am very used to snow plus the driving precautions.

My biggest fear here with snow isn’t the lack of snow plows or salt trucks but the drivers on the road. Stay safe boys…

Yeah, when coming up on an intersection I slow down and make sure someone’s not ready to blow through it….

My daughter and son in law live in Huntsville, AL. Told her snow was coming. She said "Oh yeah. It will be fine. They say if it snows here it just melts off quick." Sent her a link to the Ryan Hall Y'all video. She was like "Ohhhh. . . Yeah. I'm hoping they know far enough in advance the road crews should be ready for it." I'm laughing my butt off here. No kiddo, you don't get it. There aren't any! 🤣

They went to the grocery. Stood in line 45min. Bought what they could. Pretty much cleared shelves she said.
