2 shoulder shots today. Very little blood on either one. Did I remember to say stay away from the shoulder... 
Tracking one for a neighbors Grandson. 450ish yds we jumped it this morning. Bed is fairly bloody... Waiting 4 hrs to go back in. Got a feeling its a low briskit/belly hit. Found some (handfull) stringy blood soaked fat on briars when he got up. I believe it's gonna turn out to be nothing but we're going back in at 2 o'clock.
Maxx jumped right back on our buck at 2:00. When Maxx was chewing tail, we were close to 3/4 mile. Tyler is one happy kid now! Shot was very low but at back of the ribs. Stomach was laid open pretty bad. You never know what you'll find.

Nice start to a Sunday morning! My neighbor called last night, saying his boy shot a doe that acted funny after the shot. Was also concerned about it being that it just started raining. We agreed to watch the ball game and track it this morning. Very little blood but Maxx was working it alright. In the bottom, the lead got very tight and Maxx was digging hard, then the deer's tail popped clean off! Colt has shot some nice bucks, but this first doe will be remembered forever!
