Saw some ranchers driving cattle the old way.

This is the buck I came close to shooting when he dropped down in the draw I was setup on.i had a good seat up on the side of draw blended in well.

This was way up on a prairie field..bigg rocks that the bucks bed by out of the sun..they can see for miles there..good place to stalk one if you glass them bedding there.

Set up on a corner fence post waiting on this this old buck to give me a shot. Had some close calls but just not close enough.

Setup on a big draw..saw several bucks,this is where Tommy stalked the buck he hit..the winds were 30mph with 45 mph gusts that day.

And finished off at the town of Wall at Wall drug with a Bison burger on way home.You can see Devils Tower way off in distance in one picture.The black hills in South Dakota are beautiful.

The fun thing was I only had a deer tag so I hunted deer in the mornings and evenings most of days and shot the shit out of prairie dogs at midday. Shot this mangy yote pup at 100 yds with the 17. Killed some prairie dogs out to 245 yds with the 17. We shot at some with our bows using judo points also. Tommy hit one and the little shit took off with his arrow and lighted nock and ran in a hole with the whole arrow. We

ran over to Buffalo at the foothills of the Bighorn mountains one day for lunch. Pretty country.
