Brian, the kind of hunting you just did is the kind of hunting I love. If you break down each hunt you had like an ohio hunt. You shared it with great friends. I think the real joy in these is that sharing. But whatever it is, I'm glade as hell that you did it and shared it with us!

Thanks Dave! Yes that was some fun hunting. Got to get close and pass some real descent bucks and come so close to some big ones and not getting the shot you want. Setting up and waiting in draws was fun also. Just so much to do in between hunts also. One of the most memorable hunts was stalking antelope with Tommy and ranging the distance for him. Those goats have some great eyesight and are fast. Watching the one he shot rutting and chasing does and grunting was pretty cool. Was nice to seal the deal on one. Will just make sure I have a couple extra points to turn in next time I go so I draw a tag..they are just fun to watch and hunt. I could have had shots at several while I was there. Fun trip.

When we finally got into some nice bucks this is some of what the draws looked like plus some prairie in other areas a short distance away.

They don't call them Speed Goats for no reason! Lol

I think you are learning why I don't like hunting out of tree stands 🤣. That ground game is fun. And when you can get mobile to head them off and MAKE something happen, it really is special.

A few more pictures I was able to get.
I learned alot on this trip and next time I would watch the moon..the full moon really screwed us the first week on the deer sightings..it really picked up this past week around Tuesday with that and a cold front that came in.
Found some really good spots to kill a nice buck if I spent some time there and everything works out and the antelope hunting I could hunt everyday if I draw a tag. They are just fun to hunt

We were heading up the road to hunt one morning and dodging deer on the way..some morning or evenings it was like a pinball machine avoiding wildlife. We had one antelope cross and swerved and missed him then the dumbass came back and ran into the side of the truck. His ass hit the front quarter panel and head bounced off my door as I was looking down at him..he slid and got back up..last we saw him he was trotting across the prairie. Told Tommy we should be playing the song "Pinball Wizard" as we headed out to hunt. Lol 😂😂😂😂
