Yep, here we are, 12 1/2 hours later, still waiting to hear from Ric.

Damned elitist 1%ers!

You know what???!!!

No, I dont, why dont you fill us in!

Just bustin your chops buddy. I'm sure you're busy right now.

I have to say, Ric and I and a bunch of our deer hunting buddies are here at our deer camp. Fluteman is here with us. Lol. You know what? Lol. Just green scored his right side, 74" typical, his left side is 70" of bone as well. We're drinking beer and soaking it in.

What's the final tally?

You know what!?!? Tell that ole boy to knock back a cold one for me!

Shoulda given him another year.

Sorry Ric. Just had to post that before JD does. lmao
Congrats on a great buck for a great man and hunter.

Had a great time at Deer Camp this evening. I'm telling you guys, that buck is very deceiving. I have never in my life seen a deer that size body wise, and the rack was very impressive. 74" as a four point side, just unreal.

Congrats Ric on one hell of a buck! You work hard to kill deer of that caliber every year and I respect you and Ron for the effort you put in.

I felt severely out classed at camp tonight, as your crew are some deer killing fools. You all are most definitely a step above any hunter I've ever met, a whole different breed of deer hunter. The knowledge in that camp was easy to see, just by listening to you all talk. It was an honor to be there, and I thank you all for the invite!

First off, I apologize for not posting sooner! Thanks to each and every one of you for the kind words. It's been a long day but an enjoyable one at that. I had to get someone to help me(a great friend locally) to help me get this pig out of the woods! He helped me drag out my last 3 deer in 3 years and for that I'm great full! Thank you Dennis!

I will keep this short and will post up my hunt in the next few days as I haven't slept since I got up at 11:00 Sunday morning while working a full shift Sunday night. I am beat TOO the socks!!!

Here are a few pics:

This is how I found him. I didn't touch his rack for 30 minutes as I just admired him as I took pictures. It was a surreal moment.

This is the exit wound. The slick trick did it job as it sliced through some pretty tough shoulder bone. It didn't pass through but I watched him pile up after running 70-80 yards.

Once again, thank you all for tagging along and being patient(lol) With the warming temps and long rigorous task of getting him out and then driving 3.5 hours to our deer camp where I have little to no cell service I had little time to chime in. Sorry for keeping y'all hanging. Thank you to my TOO brothers for keeping you up to speed some what.

I will post my story as soon as I can. Good luck and I hope y'all kill a biggin!
