The plan is to put that house on this lot. My home will have a 1,200 setback in the woods with a pond in my front yard. This project began 7 years ago and is now coming into fruition.

My little girl played in her first soccer scrimage Friday night & did pretty well. She's pumped up to play again. My son scored a hatrick on Saturday, his team tied, but proud of his tough play never giving up even when they were down by two. He scored the next two goals to earn the tie. Sunday we became members of the church we've been going to on and off for a few years now, then had brunch with both my sisters families and my Mom. Then off to the first baseball practice of the season in the afternoon. My son needs to work on his fielding skills but hit very well. Busy weekend, but fulfilling. Time to make some time to turkey hunt this week.

Nice weekend Sean! Sounds like a great assortment of family activities!

The boys wanted to fish today. I let them. In fact, I didn't even go out back. I want them to learn a bit on their own. Sometimes I feel like when i am there they rely on me to do everything. Catch a fish on your own and Daddy isn't there to take it off the hook. Now what? You figure out how to get it off the hook. Run out of hot dogs? I already showed Geoffrey where to find worms. . . and it isn't the store. My daughter asked me where. I told her to go ask Geoffrey. Love watching out the window and seeing them work together to catch fish. Maybe by the end of the summer when we go fishing, I will actually be able to do a little fishing too!

After 3 years of being in storage..... I've got the Harley up on the stand and had it started already. I've got quite a few things to do yet, not to mention all the crud and badly weathered chrome. But I do plan on taking her for a few rides this year if all goes well. Long story, but getting it out again is a big deal for me. (I watched a good friend get disassembled by 9 semi tires) Not what it used to be, but still a bad-ass ride. I'll post pic's soon.
