Damn, son!... 3 shafts touching, at 30 yards... That's a hell of a group. Pretty bad ass sticker, too. lol

The bottom right one is not quite touching it's maybe quarter inch off. It like fat chicks facebook pictures. Its all about angles. And nobody said it was my first group of the day. . lmao.

You compound guys have it too easy!
My best group today at 15 with the widow.

Lol Taylor! Hey, that's a pretty nice group for trad gear. Good shootin'.

You have a sweet looking rig Jake. It's nice know we have two young like diehards like you guys to keep our sport going.

Well, since Kody is on the DL and Klay is his replacement as my roommate at the TOO shoot he has really took the initiative to practice.
So, here's his form, 10 yard group on the block and 20 yard on the deer. A few gut shots but at least he's hitting it. Lol

3 groups from 25 yards tonight, sadly this is the first time I've laid hands on my bow since the end of deer season.... :smiley_depressive:

1st and 3rd groups weren't too bad, threw one a little bit in the 2nd group, but I can't complain too much.

Felt good to get out of the house and sling a few arrows and kill a few cold ones! :smiley_clap:

Looking good Drake!

I shot 12 arrows at 20 to adjust my windage and elevation where it needed to be, then stepped to 30 for the first time in months! I'm down an arrow now thanks to the Skeeter Creek Tuning Conspiracy!!! lmao

My bow is throwing darts. It's unreal!!!

The top 3 arrows were shot while I was rested. The bottom 3 came after 10 pushups and the bottom left was the first shot back on my feet. I need some conditioning right now, but the form feels decent and the bow is doing all the hard work!!! Time to start shooting every day now; love it!!!

I have a feeling there will be some busted nocks this weekend down in Coshocton! Keep up the good shootin guys!

Tonight at 20... The arrow on top came about as close to robin-hooding as you can get... hit the nock and deflected off.

And then back from 30...

My 40 and 50 yd groups were God-awful tonight. I don't know if it was the wind, or my lack of form conditioning, or both... but I couldn't hold steady at long range to save my life. Oh well... Any time I can touch arrows inside of 30 yds I'm a happy camper.

I have never shot passed 30 yds. Anywhere I hunt you can barely take a shot over 20

Do yourself a favor and try practicing at 40 or 50 yds. It doesn't mean you have to take a 50 yd shot while you're hunting. But trust me, after you fire a few groups from 50 yds, you'll step up to 20 and feel like you're shooting at a beach ball. It's a huge help, both in the form department and the confidence department.

Yep. After shooting at 50-60 yards a 30 yard shot feels like hitting a barn with a Buick.
