I was going out tonight but it was raining and I ain't going to shoot a deer in the rain. I got last weeks doe cut up and put in the freezer so it's time to get another one or at least try to get one.
I bought that electric golf cart last week and my 6" lift kit with knobby tires was delivered today. So it will become easier to get around.

Seen a dandy tonigh. He was laying down and I watched him get up at 97 yds. Big clea 10 that will go about 150. Watched him come towards me, rub a tree at 79 yds......Then turn around and head towards the creek for maybe a drink. Darn thing never returned...........The End.:smiley_blackeye:

Need lesson's on the smoker too........3" flame scorched me tonight.....:tantrum:

Good to hear you seem a good one! Hope he returns for you.

I've got myself with the smoker too... I just make sure that there are no flames inside from time to time. Just keep checking it and blow it out if it's burning.

Na, just check it once in a while. I'm always worried about burning my clothes... Toasted the seat in my truck one morning too! Not too bad, just a little charred area

OK...Found Diane's deer within about 60 yards. Found pretty good blood on mine...started tracking to a thicket, we heard something bust out of the thicket, so I went to the next fence crossing and found blood again. We backed out and will wait until tomorrow. When in doubt, back out.

OK Guys. Got a little scary as the blood was far in between. But he kept the easy route which had us thinking he was hurt real bad. Found him next to a shed antler. It's a 140 ish 8 pt with nice mass. Shot wasn't bad, only got one lung and liver which sent him off and running.
