Good stuff Aaron and Diane! Memories for both of your families!

My wife and I feel blessed. We decided to help a family this Christmas. We decided on a family we knew and a dollar amount. We planned on delivering it today. Just going to this person's work place and asking a customer outside to drop it off to the manager. We don't want the person to know it is our doing. Sit down to eat lunch after church and tell the kids "Today is the day." Talked about it with them and why it is important. My youngest son, Garrett, gets up from the table and goes to his room. He comes back with $50. Keep in mind, he has been saving since summer for a guinea pig. Just last week he had enough saved up to buy the guinea pig, cage, and food stuff to get started. I think he needed $65 and last week got some money putting him at $72. He just handed it over with tears in his eyes. We told him he didn't have to do this. He looked at my wife and said, "Christmas is about giving. It isn't about getting Mommy." Talk about bringing a tear to a grown man's eyes. I am dumbfounded by my son's show of generosity. Something tells me I am going to need to round up a guinea pig and hide it until Christmas. After all, Christmas is about giving.

I saw your wifes post about that on fb, give the little one a high five for me! That is so great
