39!

I read on Facebook today that Keystone calls is going to be at the Expo this weekend (they previously weren't listed/registered as a vendor) so I'll be able to pick up one of their sweet wedges this weekend. I've wanted one for 2 years since I used Hoyt's.

I'll have the wedge, my Lynch box call, and still working on practicing with the mouth call.

33 Days Until Turkey Season...

This guy is a huge tool and it's easy to miss with a tight choke at those distances...but it's pretty sweet.

They've been strutting and gobbling like crazy but are still in winter flocks . Although some are breaking up some . Here is a pic of some gobblers by my work .

32 days...tomorrow is the 22nd, just need to change the calendar page a month.

Another favorite video, 40 kills in 90 seconds.

I'm a little disappointed with the cold weather on Sunday. Saturday really would be the ideal morning to get out and scout, IMO but I'm settling to see Sunday morning if I can't hear some gobbles...

Are there any turkey videos NOT presented by tools?!? :smiley_blackeye:

Hahaha yea, I went with back to back tools.

Here's 40 bow kills in 30 seconds, no tools.

I'm done hunting turkeys this year...bummer. Maybe I should fly to Ohio and see if I can knock down an eastern?

I know you have land to hunt here, but you are more than welcome at Sandridge if you decide to fly up here. Whether its this year, or sometime in the future. We'll tie one up for you!

Had a decent scouting trip Sunday morning. It was too cold for the birds. I went to my "backup" spot and heard two gobbles from the same bird at 7:13 and 7:21. I know the roosting tree, so that's all I wanted to find out. Hopefully they hang tight. I wouldn't complain about a few more cold weeks.

I wonder if the boys from Faith @ Full Draw are getting pumped up for turkey season?

Thanks for posting some "non-tools". lmao

Good luck to everyone getting ready for turkey season. Definitely getting closer.

We scouted for a bit Saturday morning and confirmed the birds are hanging out on the same point where they were most of last spring. The biggest issue with that spot is getting in to it and choosing which shelf to hunt. I plan to scout again this coming weekend at a property I just got permission on. It is the same farm where me and JB saw the 6 long beards last spring....

I was working on a gas line yesterday at my farm and heard my first spring gobble. He was working the bottom below my house and gobbled prob 20 times in 10 minutes
