Lol blood loss ain't that the Damn truth!!

Yep! My ears get it the worst! I usually wear welding gloves with long sleeve shirts and carhartt bibs when I plunge in the brush, but my head gets nicked up a bit! Lol. I usually look like I shaved with a straight razor. It's all worth it, TOO me. Hope everyone had a good season.

Hell guys, I only found 4 this year but consider it a success because I found the match set from the buck I had the "encounter" with. Then again, I probably only hunted them for maybe 6 hours.

Thanks to both of you for allowing us to tag along with your adventures this year. You have had a very popular thread and I for one learned a great deal from you. Congrats to both of you on a successful season!
Hey thanks Jimmy! That means a lot to Ric and I. I learned how, where and when on my own, and of I can ever help someone from my past experiences or lessons learned, so be it.

Really glad that you were successful this year, and you'll be an ole pro next year. I am far from an expert on hunting sheds or deer, for that matter, but I enjoy in sharing my finds and experiences with people who share the same passion.

It ain't over! Say it ain't so!!!!

It is never over. Ric already said he will be checking as prepping turkey sets. I have faith in the shed warrior/bonehead. lmao

I did some work on a property today with the backhoe. It is about 1/4 mile as the crow flies from two of my properties. I have permission to shed hunt it. I will ask if I can hunt it as well. From my quick observations, it looks like 6 out of the 8.3 acres are thicket.:pickle:

Thanks Jimmy, I concur with what Ron said! Thanks to those TOOzers who joined in with their finds and stories as well.

Dennis, it ain't ever over buddy! If I fall on a shed along a back road while taking a leak it still counts as a find! Rotflmao My eyes are always peeled for sheds. Haha

Congrats to everyone who found some this shed season.

You kidding? It ain't never over! Lol. I always look for sheds. My latest find was June 9th,2009. I spotted a nice 4 point shed in a planted bean field,100 yards off of Route 142, outside of Plain City, going 55 mph. However, my time is getting more limited.

I would have to agree with Tay Tay on the hip bone prognosis.

As far as finding any human bone parts? I don't want TOO! Lol.

Yeah my thoughts too, have you ever found human parts before?

I think Gern found something resembling human parts one time but if I recall it correct it was some sort of rubbery material. lmao

My initial thought was pelvic bones. Then I thought it looked like part of a skull with an eye socket. Might have been the way you were holding it in the picture though. Eye socket made me think "Big eyeball, must be a cow" but then you would have been missing a good portion of the skull. I dunno.

I looked at it pretty good when I found it, I believe pelvis, it even had a void where the tail bone would sit, but it had been cut there was a straight edge on it, kinda creaped me out knowing a body had.been cut up and dumped

I looked around today while out prepping my turkey hunting sets and found nothing. Did come across a rather large track though. It's as big as a large pawed dog but doesn't look like one. It's very symmetrical and more rounded. What do y'all think?
