Travons a dad Tracy committed multiple acts of perjury today when asked if he originally said that was not travons voice on the tape screaming for help. Then changing his story later to say it was. He committed perjury when he said he never said that. After two police detectives testified they heard him say it.

Shouldn't have to worry about the black population around here. Not very many blacks live here but if they want to start something I just spent the day cleaning ;)

There may have been a good reason some of those folks were once treated and caged like animals. The Sharptons and Rev. Jesses of the world will never shut up and go away until they are put in a box. Time will silence them if no one speeds up the process. Hopefully, there will not be too many of their type talented enough to follow in the steps.

BTW, there will be no rioting in northern Highland Co., thankfully.

IMO the whole problem with this case is it became about race. The MSM lead by NBC news wanted to tie it to the gun rights debate by making GZ the stereotypical white, paranoid, racist gun owner that liberals want to believe we are.

What amazes me is we have a bi racial president who is black and a bi racial George Zimmerman who is white? Guess its all in the eye of the beholder.....

That's what I thought. Seems to me that George is just as white as our President then.

All this nonsense is happening about 8 miles from me. Sanford is north, the courthouse downtown is south. I'm smack in the middle. Hopefully this rioting nonsense is just a bunch of idle chatter.

Saw this on the news, I'm not sure if this was done in front of the jury. Never heard of a judge pressuring a defendent to testify.
:smiley_chinrub:

A hostile exchange took place in the courtroom today where George Zimmerman is on trial for second degree murder as Judge Debra Nelson questioned the defendant about his plans to testify.

Nelson reminded Zimmerman that he has the “absolute right to remain silent” if he so desires and proceeded to ask him whether he was prepared to testify. Defense attorney Don West twice objected to the question, but was overruled by Nelson, who explained, “The court is entitled to inquire if Mr. Zimmerman’s determination [sic] as to whether or not he wants to testify.”

The judge then began asking Zimmerman how much time he requires to determine whether or not he would like to testify. West again objected to the question and asked for more time to speak with his client, prompting Judge Nelson to raise her voice and exclaim, “Your objection is overruled!”

The tension escalated as another of Zimmerman’s defense attorneys, Mark O’Mara, was overheard asking under his breath, “What is going on?”

Kathi Belich, a journalist following the trial for a local news channel, tweeted her surprise at the line of questioning, writing “I have never seen that in more than 30 years of court reporting.”

GZ wanted to testify. His lawyers were advising against it. But the court has to ask him directly and get an honest answer if he wants to and if someone pressured him, threatened him, etc. GZ was going to go against his lawyers advice. So his lawyer kept trying to talk him out of it bit the judge kept pushing. They must also ask if his lawyers called all the witnesses he wanted.
