It's identical to the older Beretta Cougars and very similar to the Beretta PX4's.

I thought you'd appreciate the earring hole flier :)

Skillful shooting like that will come in handy some day when a boy w/ big ol gages stops by to take out your daughter...mischeif.gif

I posted this a bunch of pages back but this is my Stoeger .40S&W. Extremely affordable handgun and I love the features and design. Bit heavy for carry but that's my next purchase.

Accurate and identical to when Beretta made them. I feel the quality of manufacture is the same also. My next purchase will be a PX4 compact so the Stoeger can have a distantly related buddy :pickle:

I like the PX4 compacts as well!

No picture yet but I posted a DEAL up in the For Sale Ads.
Russian IZ-144 7-2 KO Biathlon 22 Mag. rifle. One of the most accurate and slickest type of bolt action there is. It has a toggle type of bolt similar to the Browning T-bolt.

Picked my new rifle up it came with two 10 round magazines rather than 5 round mags.
The 2nd picture shows the toggle type bolt. Slickest action made. The trigger is a 2 stage and is about 1.5 lbs. Sweet.

I am completely unfamiliar with these. I am guessing the two stage trigger and bolt action vs semi auto would help this thing to be a tack driver?

All the rifle models made by this company in Russia are just accurate. The good light 2 stage trigger helps.
Plus they took a target rifle and made a sporter out of it by a shorter barrel and no iron sights.
I had the 22LR version and it was a tack driver. It's now in Alaska. I sold it after I had a Ruger #1 converted to 22LR as my squirrel rifle.

Is it an Izhmash biathlon basic? We have 2 Izhmash cm2s for the 4-h club. Finish leaves a little to be desired but accuracy, functioning, etc are impressive for rifles that we paid around $400 a piece for.

Yes. I've had the CM2's in the past. Matter of fact my grandson shot my CM2's for his NRA Distingished Expert Rating until almost the final end.
