Hopefully, this is my last week here. Don't know where I am going to be next week, but it's got to be closer than here! Maybe get some evening hunts in, if I work closer to home. I do have vacation time coming up, so at least my future is looking much brighter.

Nice work Dave....I'm really hoping to pop the cherry on my season this weekend. Youth football semi finals on Saturday. If we win the boys are in the championship next weekend then sports are done until spring.
Dave, I have to say that you are off to a great start! Congrats on your doe. The rest of us gotta get with it! I will hopefully be in my stand Friday night.

Thanks guys. Another cool thing is I have been able to put my 4 month old lab pup on both of these bloodtrails and one of my dads in the past week and she found all 3 deer. They were all easy tracks so she was able to be successful right from the start.
Probably wont get out TOO much more until I head west next month. Gotta get on the wifes good side before i leave.

I was working on the West side at 275-74, near Cleve's. we finished yesterday and I am home. Woohoo! I will be in my tree stand by 4:00pm. It will be my first sit this year. It's in a great location for does and I may put the smack down on one with these cooler temps.
Thanks "J". Hopefully you can make it out soon. Sorry that I didn't get to visit you at Strouds. I spent most of my time Sat. night listening to the Mike's discussion and giving Greg a hard time about Michigans defeat. Lol. You know what?! Lol

Got skunked, but it was good to be in the woods and knock the rust off. Boys won their semi final game so one more week of practice and a game probably this Sunday.
Welp! I got to spend my first 3 hrs in the stand tonight. On a pine ridge,surrounded by large white oaks loaded with acorns. Had 3 slick heads in is all, but it was a great evening sit.

Well, per Human resources I have to take 134 hours of PTO before the end of the year or I lose it. Kids are done with football Saturday. Guess who's gonna being doing some hunting.

Damn 134 hours is not messing around. I'm taking 60 hours off between now and the end of the year, starting next week. I've saved it up for a reason!
