Nice buck Steve. That's cool you guys have that kind of respect of each other.
Marcus, I feel for your buddy! That sucker is a brute! Dang!

My buddies arrow deflected off a limb and missed this warlock at 22 yds yesterday afternoon. He heard some scurrying and threw out a few grunts and brought him right in.

Or Ric maybe they all took a ride down the river on the Douche Canoe.rotflmao But really it is pretty slow in my area also.Had some cruising Monday and Tuesday and pretty slow since. My buddys down in Vinton county said they are just getting started down there. But their are always does going to get bred the first week of Nov and last week of Oct.The rut is a several month process and just have to be where the action is.This could be one of those years where Thanksgiving week could be really good.I agree Zach! Lockdown's a bitch right now! I don't understand why I'm not seeing any deer movement on my way to work and on my way home! Its like the aliens beamed them all up and are doing a study....How to frustrate a deer hunter! lmao
I think from what I saw tonight, something is going to die tomorrow!

In my experience scrapes and rubs mean nothing right now. Big bucks are cruising looking for does and Id say now and for the next 5 days are when the majority of the does get bred in my area.... Buck sightings are slim to none. I watched a 130-135 buck locked down with a doe last night.... I was 80 yards from them and they didnt have a care in the world...The doe was bedded and the buck literally stood over her for the last 15 minutes of light. until I couldnt see them anymore...
Im not saying you cant kill a good buck rt now in my area, because there are always going to be a new buck cruising here and there..I just think these next 5 days are the roughest..again, in my area..
IMO October28-Nov 3rd and Nov 10-18 are the best times to be in the woods
