Way to go J! With additional snow falling, sounds like it was a pretty good call to look for her.
Sitting in the morning. Getting my W, SW winds back which will allow me to hunt the stand I wanted to today. My buddy is hunting the property as well. Several hundred yards SW of me. Kinda hoping the deer wind him and head my way. Is that selfish? Don't get me wrong, I wish him the best. I hope we can both connect. That would be just plain awesome. Just saying, he might alter some morning movement patterns with his stand choice. lol

Good luck today. Hoping my time in the stand gives me something to be thankful for. Then again, I am thankful for the time in the stand. Just saying, if I am outside skinning and butchering, I won't be inside with my wife's family. hahahaha I joke. Really. They are good people. Just better when the house clears out and I can start cleaning up after the animals leave.
Heading out to sit in the stand for a while and hopefully knock down a buck. 17 degrees calm and moon while be overhead a little after 8. Should be a good morning for movement. After that come back to the in-laws and fry up the turkey.

Just had a doe at 25 yards, went to stand up and its so cold my ass got stuck to the seat. Ripping my ass off the seat made noise and she bolted, Wtf!
