Another skunk for me today. Not sure at what point this turns into insanity, but its close. Back at it in the morn.

Had a guy tell me I was a fool for using a saw to cut open the rib cage and pelvis. Said he could use his Butt Out tool and an 18" slit and beat me. I finished mine, hung it in the barn and came back for him. Once I'm done with my cuts, I just pull on the throat and it all comes out nice and easy. It's faster for me to do that than try and work in a confined area. With the pelvis spilt, I can grab the last 6" of asshole and cut right around it. Makes for a quick, clean gut job.

Fixing too head out about 8:30 too hopefully recover a deer I hit at 5:15 looked like it might have been a little too far back and I let it move out of the area so I could sneak out and give it time... 15 yards broadside on the ground sittin against a tree can't believe I shanked it like that.... Lots of dark red blood so I know I got liver..... I don't think it went far but there's a thicket in front of me and if its in there it won't leave unless I bump it.....
