Deer Feeder

Well, I grabbed a Moultrie feeder and now I'm debating what the best thing to put in it is. Of course corn, but does anybody have any other things they've used along with corn that works?
All this controversy over if corn is good or bad has me wondering. I don't really know one way or another. I had this thread under whitetail management originally with very few hits. I figured maybe starting this in this new section of the forum would get some more advice.

I say just corn. But you could mix in some protein feed. I don't know man.

scatter some striped sunflower seeds around the feeder , i dont know how well they would come out of a feeder , but i know deer go crack head crazy over sunflower seeds

I've thought about sunflower seeds but them things are expensive!
I wonder if regular seeds, like the baseballers chew on, would work. They're salted.
I might get one giant bag of sunflower seeds and use it sparingly.

Just as an FYI. The sweet mix will rot quickly. So if it is a site that isn't hit alot I wouldn't use it.
