Went to a event at a local church tonight called shoot straight. Had all kinds of wild game to eat some cool local vendors and a speaker.

Austin won a small knife as a door prize I won $25 dollar gift card in the mount contest. Austin also bought himself a mouth call for turkey season. He is making a noise that sounds nothing like a turkey but it makes me smile from ear to ear to see him getting excited.

J- I don't care to own half the town. Adding one or two a year with good cash flow would keep me smiling though. It is exciting to watch the monster grow, but it doesn't come without some pains. Not really "sexy" or "fun" purchases but they make numbers move in the right direction.

Great stuff Steve. Glad to see Austin is fired up for turkey season. That is truly "TOO Good!"

Well got my bow back from bear today, and all new parts are installed I'm tickled

Some of you are aware that I own/operate/run several websites. Anyway, a couple of years back, Cabela's did a major overhaul on their affiliate programs due to the Nexus laws. Due to that, I got dropped as an affiliate and my income definitely took a hit.

An affiliate manager contacted me today to ask if I ran any business (or employees) from 4 certain states, which I do not. Then they sent me an offer to become an affiliate for them again, which I gladly accepted.

Unfortunately, they have dropped their commission percentages, but I need them for camo furniture and stuff like that, so I am tickled pink!

My daughter Brooke's friends dad ask her to come to softball practice Tuesday evening so they would have enough for a team. Let me just say that Brooke has never played softball and is a basketball only chick. She is so competitive that she told me that she would definitely be good to go. I missed her first two practices due to work so tonite I set the tee up to see what she's got. She is 12 and a dominate right hander, so when she stepped to the tee she was batting left handed. I stood back and told her to put the ball on the tee and give it a swing, I was amazed at what I saw to say the least. I don't know how she'll fit in with the team but I hope she will be happy with her decision. Hopefully, she'll love softball.

Both of my daughters were extremely talented and both were pitchers. I, myself, couldn't hit a fast pitch softball if my life depended on it. Now I'm back at the ball field all the time for my granddaughters and they also seem to have a natural talent for it. I love watching them play.

Just bought my fishing and hunting licenses online along with one turkey tag and Karissas apprentice hunting license and turkey tag. Hope we are able to get out more than just a few times together throughout the season. If I luck into a nice bird I might buy anothe tag but I'm undecided for now.....
