Was curious how many of you knew each other before joining a forum? It just seam's like there's quite a bit of history among some of the members here.

Knew nobody and nothin before joining a forum.
Met CJ and Riverdude and Ohiosam and RC and GEEZER at a shoot that Dude put on and forged important lasting friendships.
Met CarpnJake later 'cause he lives local, good guy!
Have talked to FredT on the phone a few times, he's answered questions for me - gracious and knowledgeable guy.
Also chatted with some dude named Badger, another good guy...I owe him a call to catch up.

I have personally met the majority of our members here. Still haven't met Cotty, Dan, RD, Hoot, or Badger, but I feel like I "knew" y'all before me made it to TOO thanks to our days on OS. The list of guys I have met in person is pretty lengthy and that's what make this so much fun. When you know someone personally, it adds a whole new element to the forum experience. Good Lord willing, we'll have a TOO get-together this year and I can cross most everyone off the "Must Meet" list...

I didnt know anyone either......My buddy was telling me about a couple sites he visited and the "other site" was one of them....glad i found it.
I have talked to Tree monkey for a long time now and never actually met him.......until tonite when he stops over to pick up a treestand.

I'm a dumbass. I just reread and saw you meant "a" forum not "this" forum. That narrows it down to Greg. I've know Greg for 20+ years dating back to our little league baseball years. Since joining OS in 2004, I've met over 75 members and most of those are here now. The list of "Must Meets" gets shorter every year!!!
Nobody. Met them all on the net. Fortunate to have met a handful in person as well. Hope to meet some more.

No, I don't. A few that I've fished with over the past years, Reel Lucky, Lundy, Big Daddy, StinkyFingers (now deceased), Stumphumper, and Dixie Chicken.
