I have a funny story to add.
I saw a fellow shed hunter at a mud bog this weekend. Our first words towards one another was, how did you do this year? He responded much like my year, not great but a descent year. We both found 22-28. However, he went on to tell me that he sold almost his entire collection, with the exception of a matched set his son found. My jaw hit the ground! I said, " what the f%}%k did you do that for"? He replied, " the wife wanted to go on vacation". Lol. Anyway, he found a 178" matched set last year and he had them in the pile to be sold. He went on to tell me that he had moved them back and forth out of the pile, having second thoughts of selling them. I asked him, " did you ask her, are we staying 5 days or seven?" Lol. He sold them for 250.00. All 100 sheds went for 800.00. To each their own, but I hold my sheds near and dear to my heart!
