I got out for a few minutes too day. 9 pheasant backs and 14 yellows I left at least that many yellows for the fiancé too find tomorrow, see has never found any on her View attachment 21306own so I'm going too point her to the tree and let her find them. Just hope the last two days wind doesn't dry them out too much.
Never heard them called pheasant backs, mostly hickory jacks or elephant ears. Nice mess of good eats ya got there!

Yea you can eat them they can be tough sometimes they are decent and they are plentiful
