We saw one of our targets. 70 yds was as close as he got. Mason passed a 150" 10pt... For real. Saw some other small bucks, does, squirrels. Our tet is bedded 75-100 yds from the tree w the doe. Mason's feet froze out, I'm going back in a bit. I got video of the 10 he passed or I wouldn't believe it myself...
That's insane mason! Haha he's really holding out ain't he. My hats off to that boy. He has some self control now!

They were really moving this morning. I'll have to post the story of my missed opportunity in my journal, but i saw the classic rut signs for the first time this morning. Everything you could hope for. Bucks chasing does, fighting, running off other bucks... was a frenzied scene for sure. didnt shoot anything but definitely the best sit ive ever had.

Saw 3 bucks and 2 does. Froze out at 10:30. Sitting in the truck at the farm now debating on where to go tonight.

Gunner and I are in the stands for the first time. A little windy but the winds are supposed to fit down as the day goes along. We found a huge fresh scrape on the way in about 35 yards from Gunners stand so hopefully the big boy will be around to check it tonight. Thanks for all the well wishes and gonna do our best to lay a couple down.

I bumped a 160 ten point ten yards from my stand he was with a doe I'm hoping I didn't mess it up too much.
Heading back out shortly. Pretty sure Klay is joinging my dad in the blind across from me later on after he gets home from some school event.

Dang, I think since the rut is apon us that it should bug him to much if the does are locals. I missed a target buck this morning and just came to the realization that even though I scarred him pretty bad and he blew and tore up out of there that where I am at the does are here too so if he wants some tail he will be back soon.
