Grabbed a bite to eat and we're back in the trees. I saw that spike and doe from my stand this morning and Gunner didn't see squat so we switched up so maybe he could stick another doe. The kids wanting to kill em all!

He's coming out of the woodlot 25 yards away, even at noontime last week I've learned after checking my cams today, yet I didn't see squat after a 6 hr sit. On the bright side, he doesn't have that much mass, so if he's still around next year......

I took a break and am back in the saddle. Same stand as this morning. Figured with there being at least 2 does bedded 100 yards away and plenty of food around, this was as good a bet as any.

Just had a dandy 2 year old 8 come through. Bastard interrupted my cat nap! LOL
Probably a P&Y deer and I've never seen him before. His mouth was wide open, so he's been on the move.

Back in the tree. Bucking the wind a bit. It is not cooperating. Trusting my scent control and hoping the tarsal gland and scent wick with estrous pee does it's job. Wife is tired of me hunting. I am tired of listening to her. Love her but geesh. This is my outlet. Deal with it. Lol
Another nice 2 year old slipped out of the corn and through the timber 100 yards out. He headed for the bedding area.

Just had Darryl come through. He was on a mission. Couldn't get him in for a shot. Closest he got was 80 yards. Damn he's a good looking deer.
