Got a new TV yesterday. I think we moved from the 90's to the 2000's. Away with the rear projection TV and in with the 60" Vizio. Always thought the old TV was pretty good. After getting this baby mounted on the wall. . . .holy cow! Guess the old TV wasn't as good as I thought it was. New TV: TOO Good!

Now we got to enjoy watching the Buckeyes win! That was TOO good!

After the game, my nephew Geoffrey (who lives with us), gave me a hand getting firewood. Filled the UTV with 4 heaping loads from the neighbor's woods. Just cutting downed trees, we didn't make a dent. That was a productive hour and a half. Felt good to pick up that much firewood in such a short amount of time. Probably try to repeat tomorrow and Monday. TOO good!

Top that off with our son, Garrett's, soccer game. Indoor game they won 17-0 with Garrett scoring 5 goals!

Braydon got in my buggy tonight. Didn't think we were gonna get him out of it. He can't wait for a ride tomorrow.

I havent looked forward to opening day of gun in a long time, but for whatever reason im pumped up ready to go all out this year.

I have a love/hate relationship with gun season. The TOO good part will be hunting with my wife tomorrow. Been too long since we've shared a blind together.

The wife and I were talking the other day and got on the subject of our freezer in the basement.... We were wondering when we had bought it and came too the conclusion we had bought it in 1999 when my SIL was working at Walmart for a couple of years and we had gotten it using her discount... We paid a whopping 99.00 for it as it was only 5.0 cubic foot version but at the time we only used it for deer and turkey and the stray beef we'd get in between deer....
Well after coming too the realization of how old it was and with the Black Friday sales going on this weekend we set out too look at some.... Our current one is a chest type and we were lookin at the upright version and looked at quite a few and on he way home without being any closer too finding one we liked in our (my cheap) price range I said let's stop at Home Depot as I also had too pick up a few other items.... Well we looked at their uprights then walked by one of their chest types that had dividers and baskets in it we settled in on the chest type with baskets too separate her baked goods as well as steaks and ground.... We ended up with a maytag 14.8 cubic foot version... The 20' version really had a lot of dividers in it and would have been nice but was way too big for what we need it for.... Heck we're tripling the storage we currently have so we should be good for some time lol.... We didn't get anything fancy and its a manual defrost as I do t want any issues with additional items too fail.... So we'll see how it works out... I know one things for sure I won't have too empty half of it out too find what I'm looking for now lol.....

Well gun season wasn't any fun. Have 0 deer in shooting range. Biggest buck I seen was a 4pt... BUT my #1 target buck 150 maybe 160" is still alive . The land owner was out walking his dog at last light and watch the big buck for 15min. I was out hunting and he met me at my truck and said I was 10min late that the big buck was just out in the field. As I was on the other side of the property. Bit I'm super excited he mad it through gun week. I have no idea where he stays at. He's a smart one.

Kids.........gotta love 'em.

We were eating dinner when the phone rang. Caller ID showed CA, so I was going to ignore it. Instead, Eric answered it, said hello, then said, "Can you hold on a minute?".

The he sat the phone next to the radio that was set on a country station. About a minute later, he picked up the phone and said "I'm sorry, all of our representatives are currently busy. Estimated hold time is 5 minutes", then he sat the phone by the radio again.

About 2 minutes later, he picks the phone back up and says, "Our office is now closed. Please call back during regular business hours" and he hung up.

lmao lmao lmao

Today was one of the most gratifying days I've ever had in the outdoors. I'm wore clean out after 2 straight days of 5AM wake ups and lots of hard work. But I wouldn't have it any other way. Today was simply TOO good.
