At the beginning of the season I remember posting that NAFA said coons would be all but unsold this year. The only ones they predicted to sell was the XXL Prime. They even suggested not targeting them. You know it's bad when they tell you don't even bother.

They also said the mink farms have driven down the price of mink so low that rats would be dirt cheap.

Shit that's 90% of a water trappers catch.

On the other hand they said coyote and fox was expected to do very well. So there is that.

What does he do to keep them from rotting, freeze them?

No. Once u put them up and dry them they will keep. Just can't get damp.

I'm cleaning the freezer out tomorrow so I will let you guys know what I average. I haven't put them up this year due too lack of time. And yea if I was in it for the money I never would have started this hobby. lol.

Yea I agree traps and gas are not cheap. I was hearing averages around 6 on whole coon. And 6 on rats.
