Those look killer Charles!

Agreed on the bulk buying. It seems odd for me to buy in bulk, when it's just the two of us, but it helps stretch those dimes. I bought a new vac sealer and we got some bags cheap. That's the only thing I don't like about vac's is the price of the bags. I'm not reusing them after any kind of meat, and that's basically the only thing I use them for.

I got my sealer for Christmas and love it! Amazon Prime for bags is the ticket so far. My freezer was bone dry in September. Now she is full of 3 deer, ducks, geese, squirrel, home grown beef, normal supplies and now a stock of pork. Kroger had loins on sale for $1.99 a pound. Also bought a pork butt for the same price. Cut one loin and part of another down to a dozen 1" chops. Trimmed the rest of the loin to stuff and grill this summer. Took the third and trimmed it, seasoned it and sealed it up for tomorrow when it'll go in the slow cooker all day for pull pork. Productive evening!

Looks good J, might have to give that a try.

She used a meat tenderizing mallet went from 1/2-3/4 inch down to about an 1/8" and then cut and rolled them up with cheese and stuffing and then slow cooked @ 275 for 1.5 hr and then down too 225 for another 1.5 hours.... Melt in your mouth tender.... Used tooth picks too hold together.....

Im going to Logans Irish Pub in Findlay tonight with some friends Didn't know if this was a chain place or just a local joint. Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions other than the typical corned beef and cabbage? Not that I don't love it, I will eat anything, but looking for something new.

Half Irish kid (thumbs pointed at me) loves the cabbage and beef in any form.
