Had to pick bear hair out of there. Bastards are all over that ridge! Tried taking pics of the paw prints, but you can't tell anything. Got to be a great find if you're a bear roaming the hillsides of BFE West By God Virginia!

Well, lets see here..... last month my wife's pre melanoma issue was resolved with a bit being cut out of her leg & all is well. This past week, my sister had colon cancer surgery over at OSU ( I never mentioned it ) & all is well. She came home today. The other day, my lawn tractor died big time on me & that is something I really don't care about knowing the things that are important are turning out ok. Life is pretty darn good right now :):)

My grandpa and I were talking about hunting today and he told me a cool story. He grew up in Carroll County just outside of dellroy. His family was "poor as church mice" and he would rabbit hunt a lot to put food on the table. He had a dog that he would take with him and he'd set on top of a sulfur pile from an old mine. The dog would get a rabbit going and almost every time it would circle right around the sulfur pile and he'd shoot them with his dads old double barrel shotgun. He also said that the county game warden lived right up the road from him and back then there was a bounty on crows. He would take a pair of crows feet too the GW and in return he'd get six shells for his shotgun. Cool story I thought I'd share. My grandpa just turned 90 back in February.
