I must have missed it. What you do to your arm?

Buck I slipped and fell on the danged ice Christmas morning. Hair line fracture of my right arm just below the shoulder ball. Guys back in the late 60's early 70's CB radio was all the rage. Everybody seem to have one. One BIG taboo was not to talk about what you had in your home. Especially fire arm. As a fatter - of max I had my home broke into and all my guns stolen. So I'm not all that sure of posting pictures of or prize possessions is all that good of an idea. NEVER know who is looking. Even "Big Brother"!

Buckrun - neat little pocket guns. Other than a .22 derringer or a .32 Berretta tomcat, I hadn't thought about a .25 auto, that's pretty neat. Come to think of it, that's the first I've ever heard of a .25...would you mind posting a bullet comparison picture?

Here you go.

I know what you mean. All these years I have been tight lipped about what is in my safe. I have never been broke into. May be Ill delete every thing some time. Just showing them off right now. I am proud of what I have collected over the years. I hate the idea of not being able to show off this stuff to people you know will like seeing it. I know I like seeing all the pictures others have posted.

Just follow the golden rule of never posting your last name, address, or telephone number and no internet lurker will ever know who you are. We as sportsmen are constantly advertising that we have guns in the house.. Ever do yard work in an old camo t-shirt? Shovel snow in an old hunting jacket? Or the 4x4 in the driveway with hunting or NRA stickers. All of these are far more likely to get you robbed than posting some guns on the internet.. (providing you follow the golden rule of no address, last name, or phone number on the net) :)

Well the rifle is in. Now I am waiting on my bases and scope. The trigger is awesome without adjusting it. The stock is going to have to go eventually. It is free-floated but when you have a the bi-pod down it touches the barrel because of the stock being a bit flimsy. The action is slick. Howa makes the actions for the Weatherby lines also. I will get some "glamour" shots up when my scope comes in. But for now:

It looks like a short action. Im guessing .308. I think I remember you saying you were getting something but don't remember what it was. How smooth is the Howa action?

Save your brass. It would be best if you could keep the brass from each gun in separate containers. Using the same brass in the gun it was shot in before.

I usually only neck size my rifle brass. That will help the brass last longer. It also is fire formed to the gun it is shot in. This helps accuracy. But could cause problems if you are shooting it in different guns.

I spent a little more than I wanted on the glass but it is a nice unit. Since I don't have the scope yet I may just throw some downrange Kentucky windage style ;) I hate waiting to shoot a new gun.

COB,
Would love the brass!

Well, I just walked in the door and the post man came through. I just mounted the scope. Here are some cell photos of it mounted...

P.S. I freakin love how clear this scope is. AO with clear images at 24X. Hopefully I can do my part.
