OK I got the camera out.

Here are a few pocket revolvers. The top stainless one is a S&W model 60 .38 special.

The middle one is blued S&W model 36

Bottom is a Ruger SP 101 .357 Mag. Double action only.

All 3 are 5 shot.

Thank You Buckrun.
I've been lusting for something new to consider...:smiley_chinrub:

Kinda like that Ruger w/ no hammer to get hung up on the way out.
Is it as heavy as it looks?

Arn't all Rugers heavy? It is a chunk but shoot a full house .357 in it, you will not think it is so heavy. The only problem I have with it is I can't shoot my round nose cast bullets in it. The cylinder is shorter than my other .357's and the nose of the bullet sticks out the front.

I need to find a mold block with a lighter, shorter bullet. Better check ebay again.

Some more pocket revolvers.
Here are a couple oldies that have seen better days.

The top one on the top strap says British Bull Dog.
On the top of the barrel is says Forehand & Wadsworth
It is a 7 shot!
As far as I can tell it is in working condition. But it doesn’t say anywhere what it is chambered for.

The bottom one is smaller and doesn’t funtion correctly.

The top one on the top strap says Vest-Pocket Self-Cocker
It doesn’t say anything else on the gun anywhere.

Ya your right. The very thing I like about Ruger wheel guns is the heavy frame. I should have remembered.

I hope I didn't offend you. I didn't mean to come off like a smart ass. That is not how I ment it. After re-reading it tonight it could have been taken that way. That is one thing I try to be careful about on these boards. I am not a grumpy old man, at least most of the time Im not.

How about some little pocket auto's. Three little .25 Semi automatics.

There is a Bretta, FN Browning's Patent and a Colt, Junior Colt

The Colt belonged to my dad. I can remember back in the 60's he was a manager of a Pangles Grocery store. There was a rash of robberies. He went out and got this little .25 and would wear it on his belt open carry in the store.

I really don't know what he would have done if he would have had to use it.

The FN belonged to my great aunt. She lived in an apartment in Lima years ago. She was going to her car one afternoon. A guy stopped her to rob her. She was a feisty ole gal for that matter she still is at 94 years old. Still lives on her own but can't have the gun in her apartment. Any way she had the auto in her hand which was in her purse. She said you better get away or I will shoot you with this gun. The guy took off! I think it was a good thing for both of them.

Cool little pistols. How accurate are they? Every 25 auto i have ever shot was a Rib Gun.. Push it in their ribs and bang.. Why can't your great aunt have it in her apartment? The Ohio Castle Doctrine says landlords can no longer prohibit personal firearms from their renters.

She is in an assisted living apartment building. She had it hid in there for years. Then she wanted to make sure I got it when she passed. They also come in and inspect her apartment every year. She was afraid they would find it.

I find they are a lot more accurate than youd think. I can hit my steel mil park targets at 25 yards easy. That is a lot farther than you would be using them for real.:smiley_cowboy:

Nice pocket guns.
Sometimes I think I would like to go smaller but in the end I still fall back to the Commander.
(a weight and burden I carry in hopes of never needing)

Contender with .221 Fire Ball barrel 4x Leupold scope, .30 herrett and a .45 LC/ 410 barrels. Man do I wish I would have bought more barrels back in the day. I could get them for $75.00. Now it is hard to find them for under $200.00 I wish I had a .22 rimfire barrel.

Buckrun - neat little pocket guns. Other than a .22 derringer or a .32 Berretta tomcat, I hadn't thought about a .25 auto, that's pretty neat. Come to think of it, that's the first I've ever heard of a .25...would you mind posting a bullet comparison picture?
