A bad day on the homestead today. My damn refrig went out about 9:00 PM then 30 minutes later got word that my DIL's dad passed away from a massive stroke he had yesterday.
Got the items out of the freezer side down in the basement big freezer and putting the refrig items in 2 coolers until tomorrow. Then finish cleaning out the secondary refrig in the garage then look for a damn new refrig.

Seems appliances have been dropping like flies around here.
I'm sure our washing machine will take a dump in October when I'm ready for tires. I've been seriously considering selling my quad. I don't ride it much anymore, I just hate knowing that I won't get even close to what I put in it.

Been nursing a ham string pull since March and it flares up every couple of weeks but I've been walking 3 miles a day since I retired in May... I walk 5-6 days a week, I just hook up the wife's dog and go for about 40-45 minutes at a time.... Stepped off a curb and bang pulled it again.... Felt like someone was holding a hot poker too my back thigh....

Hope it doesn't feel like this Saturday morning or it'll be a long walk too the stand.....

Sorry to hear about your leg.
I got torn cartlidge in my left knee for the last 19 yrs. It doesn't bother me except when I stand too much. My MS sorta takes care of the pain problem. Well last night I'm pulling my shoe on and screwed it up big time. Little better today.
Went to Lowes and bought a new refrig be delivered tomorrow. I looked on line at several places and all about the same price. It was in stock and 5% discount on my Lowes card. Most models are 3-4 weeks wait.

Hope it heals quickly for ya J. Get well soon.

Unfortunately walking and this tear aren't conducive... It is what it is and I'll nurse it a long.... Luckily I have a support group close by that'll lend a hand dragging if needed this weekend....

I can't just sit around (unless on stand) and wait for it too heal so minor setbacks are going too happen lol.... Ibuprofen is my friend the next few days lol....

Try stretching, it will help.

I do periodically throughout the day.... Sometimes it won't give any issues for a couple weeks then I'll either turn wrong or step up and there it is again....

I was a runner for close too 15 years and never had any hamstring issues ever....

Strength training would probably help too. Most people have weak hamstrings compared to their quads so the imbalance may be an issue.
