I've lost 19 pounds in the last 2 months. I eat clean meats, carbs only for breakfast and lunch and try to work out a couple times a week. I religously drink a gallon of water a day plus alot of coffee. Its been an eaay diet because i still get sugars from fruit and im not carb depleating.

I've plataued a few times and have a cheat day....oddly enough the next day I weighed less than before the cheat day. The body does strange things.

Down to 192 from 230. Took awhile but my clothes are getting baggy and I feel way better. Pretty much at my goal now if I can just maintain the 190-195 range.

Sounds like quite a few of you are having success on the weight loss front.

I'm kind of stuck in a rut right now and I'm struggling to get out. I've been eating well and reducing my portion sizes for the most part, but it's hard for me to give up some of my favorite food, and to not over eat when we have them. I've been working a ton lately, so when I get home, I can't find the motivation to exercise. I know what I need to do, but I struggle with doing it. I really wish I could get someone on the same schedule to get in shape with me. It would definitely make things easier if I had some extra motivation.

Pushed through 3 days of a ketogenic "diet". Saw 213.5 this morning. Me and carbs just don't get along, but after 3 days with less than 50 net carbs, my body is SCREAMING for carbs. Going to fight through one more day and have some whole wheat pasta tomorrow!

As you know carbs are more of a addictive thing and after a few days you'll feel better.... Body still needs them just not as much as we usually take in.....

Go buy you some ketone strips at the drug store, that way you will know when your body is in ketosis. Until your body goes into ketosis you are wasting your time brother. Once you reach ketosis you will shed the pounds like crazy. There is no cheat day on the carb thing though, remember that. I lost over 100# on the carb diet quite a few years ago and know it works but it's not a lifestyle you can do for a long period of time. Quick weight loss, absolutely. Permanent lifestyle, no. It will get you to a target weight quickly and then you can switch to a eating pattern you can do every day.

Makes a big difference. I need new jeans though and I'm not real happy about that. I just bough new uniforms at work and that was expensive enough

Nice work fellas.

I'm still a fat ass as I sit at a desk for 8-9 hours a day and drink too much beer. I do eat healthy though.
I have blood lab work in a few weeks so I've been on better behavior lately.
True test will come in a couple of weeks when its time to wear pants again. I wear shorts all the time.

Just got off the scale this morning and it said 205! 15 months ago I was 155… My feet hurt, I'm worn out, and just flat feel like shit most days. It's time to do something about it and I just picked today to start. My first target number is 185…

My plan is to drink more water.
No pop.
Beer only on weekends…(this ones gonna suck!)
Eat more often in less portions.

I'm working now and really haven't done much but sit on the couch the last 15 months, so I'm not adding a workout at this point. I might need to add one to drop the next 20 lbs though, we will see. With working alone I've been way more active…I had been logging less than a mile a day and only 2 stories on my phone. The last couple days I've been logging over 6 miles and over 10 stories. The burning feels pretty good!

I'm right there with you. I'm up to between 255 and 260 but I actually feel pretty good. Since I started lifting heavy again I have put on a lot of muscle and I'm actually more for ible than I have been in years.
