No doubt! He finished 13th overall out of 400+ runners. Pretty good for a 5th grader.

So we had the head fake of the year this week...

My one buddy doesn't have the best eye sight and he's prone to getting head faked fairly often. We caught a decent flight around 9AM and I was working two pairs of mallards when they disappeared. I was looking out the back of the blind and turned around just in time to hear him say: "There's a du... it's a butterfly." lmao He was about to shoulder his gun and all! We are still laughing about it today and busting his balls in our group text!

Reese picked up her 12th retrieve this morning. She now has as many retrieves in the first week as she did all last season!

JPN and I got out for the North Zone opener this morning. Last night hundreds of ducks piled into a pond we can hunt so we set up there this morning. Nothing flew this am and we literally saw 2 ducks. Good thing was they both came and tried to land with the decoys and we got em both. The one here head had interesting wing feathers.

I am guessing part farm duck lol. We ended up killing three more this evening. Justin's dog got retrieve #20 of the season. She is doing awesome.
