Had the best night I have had all year. 11 deer came in sorta staggered. Had the crosshairs on 10 of the 11. Of course #11 is the one I wanted. He acted like he was going to cross the fence 4 different times. But he would just not commit.

I've been getting screwed the past 3 weeks except for this evening on the weather. It gets cold as hell during the week then warms back up on the weekends. Fuggin afternoon shift.

Same here. It'll get cold during the week and they'll burn through 150 lbs of corn. By the time the weekend gets here it warms up and they're out of golden nuggets. Where I'm hunting isn't were they want to be so if there's no bait they're not showing up. No way to get to them without busting them out so I have to draw them to me.

I'm with you on that Mike. Been a rough year for me...haven't even seen a buck since opening day of shotgun. Not while hunting anyways.

I just checked cams. I'm amazed really. Before muzzy season I had deer piling into every pile of corn I had a cam on. Almost all of the deer have been showing up after dark for the last 10-12 days. The weather is perfect right now, the effects of the moon are about all I can figure. Still, we have a couple weeks left. I just showed Mason a nice 8 that's a regular, he's still holding out. I suspect he won't get trigger happy until his last hunt of the year, just like last year.

Had 8 bucks this week show up.. One stud and a heavy young one. Rest were dinks. Haven't had that many bucks in a week for a year or so

Still got the muzzleloader loaded. Hopefully I can knock down a northeast georgia communist pig this coming week.
