My original question was just out of general interest as I shoot little buck at the closest location I can from my home so means no difference to me. My general interest was just that the same as anyone who came to view the thread obviously the fact that it was shot in Ohio and/or Stark County lured some interest. I could post a buck shot in North Dakota and the level of interest would probably be a lot less because people relate to the proximity. My apologies for being somewhat interested in the story as I sent my brother a photo and he asked how close that was from my house and since I was unable to provide an answer I figured I would ask if anyone knew. Didn't realize that would turn people to thinking I wanted to hunt over the same corn pile it was shot off of.
I don't think any of us were implying this, I understand what you are saying, if a big buck is killed close to me, I like to know down to the spot where it was killed also, just out of pure curiosity as well. But there are guys out there that will literally "chase ghosts", the second they hear or see a trophy deer killed in an area they become hell bent to get in that specific area.
