Just got done putting everything in it and getting ready for its maiden voyage tomorrow. At that point I realized that I didn't have any firewood! How is firewood so expensive to buy? $150 for a truckload!!!! No thanks, looks like I'll be headed back into the woods here in a bit.
Safe travels and good look on the shake-down trip. Hoping no surprises (but expect them with it being new - i.e. clamp vibrating loose, screws needing a resnug, etc).
WTH on the firewood? That should have been in motion last fall so it's dry, split, stacked and ready to load for this summer!
On the light bar...the guy next to us had a blue one on his and holy shit was that annoying! Bugs ain't bad yet so I'll have more to say later in the year about it.
It was also weird to be at paint creek and the place wasn't packed to the gills.
I'm also still in search of some missing Bud Lights...took 50 beers with me and I couldn't find any in the cooler last night. WTF?! How is that possible, with only one person drinking them? Two days and fifty beers...maybe camping will cost me more money than I thought! How cool would it be to have a tap on the side....? Hmmmmmm
Some times you just get thirsty. I earned this weekend and I'm sure I'll pay for it the next few days. It felt good to not care about my bad feet and back, just get out and play with my kids. Sure I had a beer in my hand 95% of the time, but we all had a blast!
