Bad news boys... I'm getting feedback on the Creek trail that we rode last year. I've grown up riding that trail and every year it became a different adventure, but the last 5 or 6 years it's become worse and worse due to jeep and truck use. My sources are saying that there are parts that are impassable and pretty dangerous. Some of the spots we had trouble in last year are now just flat out treacherous. Considering we have plenty of other ground to ride on, we may have to bypass the creek trail. I'm just not comfortable taking a bunch of guys down there and risking an injury. That was a bad experience last year when Ric got hurt and weighed heavy on my shoulders for a long time. Still does...

We will still ride, and we will have fun touring the grounds, but that one trail may be a no-go.

Gotta do what's best Mike, maybe last yr's epic ride will be the one that goes down in the books! Small technical correction tho - Ric did not get hurt on the Creek Trail, lets not send the wrong impression. If Ric made it to the Creek trail he would not be with us today:smiley_brancard:

Mingo still offers a ton of great riding and anyone that complains about the opportunities provided during this outing need not speak up. Busting clays again this year?

I'm fine with that, sounds like we'd have alot of stuck fuggers, and I can't afford to be breaking shit on the ranger lol. We'll still have fun riding the hills and power lines!

Still gotta find the mud though. We can do the last part of the creek trail. We can go in the backdoor down by the old railroad tracks that ran through the woods. Lots of other places too.

That's an affirmative on the clays. I just talked to the guy today about us using the launcher again.

Don't forget to bring clays guys!

I am saddened. My buddy Steve might join us. He is a fellow dirt bike guy. Maybe he and I can do this section. We can avoid the major holes. On the record I am willing to admit this: the dude can out ride me. I never once beat him when we were racing together. I say this because I know some of you have witnessed guys on dirt bikes who were libilities in the past. Steve won't be one of them.

You are more than welcome to trek down there. A dirt bike could easily navigate around all the crap, I'm sure.

Trust me, I am disappointed that some of the new guys won't be able to see it. It was always such a badass ride.

We might be able to do some of the ride though. I was thinking on it. I mentioned going in the backdoor... We could possibly do that and when we get to the shit part, just double back. We just won't be able to drop down into the crick like we did last year as we started up on the powerlines and headed off Pine Point. If we go in the backdoor, we can still go through some of the creek crossings and see some of that bottom. Either way, we will have some good riding. No worries.
