Yep. I've used jewel weed before as well. Dawn dish soap immediately after returning to the house is a normal protocol.

On the upside: Stuff on my arms is drying up a bit more every day. The eyes aren't as bad as they were last night. I'm beginning to wonder if it wasn't some sort of allergy overload. I sure hope so.

The wife walks with the dog every night after work... Last night she ran into something and had a similar reaction to it like you Phil... No contact with weeds at all... Her eyes looked like she went rounds with Tyson.... She put wet tea bags on both of them and the swelling was all but gone in an hour.... She's never had any kind of reaction like that before...

That's the stuff! Works good on all sorts of bites actually.

The seed pods are very clever. The pod is "spring loaded" so when its brushed, it pops the 3-4 seeds in all directions. My wife and kids use to love going around and touch the seed pods and make em explode. Touch one and see. A small vine inside seed pod is like a wound spring.

So my Exmark Zero Turn now resides sitting upon a yellow jackets nest which is now parked along the woodline.

My bad fortune is much like this guy.

Now I need to figure out a plan to get it out of there. On my first attempt I ran away with 6 stings.
