That's awesome Brock! Sounds like you guys needed to just get out and relax and have some fun hunting. Also what kind of camera are you filming with it has amazing quality!
Did Mason shit himself?
It looked like he might have :smiley_crocodile:
Jesse, I still have room to roam. I am fortunate in that regard. I was never a fan of sitting over a pile of corn until my hunting turned more to taking Mason out than actually hunting myself. Unfortunately, he has come to believe in order to see deer there needs to be stand(s) or blinds set up over a pile of corn or apples. I want to get him away from that line of thinking. That is a good way to kill 'em, but I never felt like it was really hunting. Obviously, I'm not opposed to it, but it just isn't the rich experience that a person gets from actually hunting. He is old enough now to be sneaky, and I'm trying to teach those skills. I don't know why, but I've always been really good at getting close to game with both feet on the ground and before my time on Earth is up, I want him to enjoy it too. He actually said this past weekend that we only had one set up to hunt! I looked at him like he was nuts and decided it was time he learned... it's been a blast so far.
My son & I watched that video this morning, we were cracking up! :smiley_crocodile:
A charging squirrel is terrifying! ha
caleb said, "what if the squirrel goes after your nuts?!?"
and then we both laughed even more.
Stuff we can get away with when mom's not watching us. Haha!
