Live from the stand!

Probably my best sit of the year tonight as well. I saw deer! Came to the stand in a grumpy mood. Enjoyed myself. Saw deer. Left in great spirits. Hard to be anything but happy with that sit. Ended up seeing 20 turkeys and 10 deer. Granted, this was a 80 acre picked corn field. Great observation stand. Only deer in range was the size of Hank, my 75lb GSP.

I had several shot ops at this nice young deer. Nice mass and big body.




Gave a great shot here. Actually stood there for a good 30-40 seconds.

Saw 5 does tonight , and passed a 130" eight point . Was pretty wide but lacked tine length . He was following 10 yds behind a lone doe . I attached a crappy pic I took as he was walking away . Ya can see the does rump on the left side of the photo .

Damn! He is wide.

Been settled in since about 10 till 7. Didn't spook anything on the way in that I'm aware of, which I found rather shocking. Haven't hunted this set yet this year so we will see what happens.

Haven't seen any thing whole on stand, but I did see a real nice 10 on his feet while on my drive to my spot.

Just had a BB & doe come to my mineral site & then underneath me. They're still behind me now feeding in my neighbor's yard. They walked right past my popup & Ever calm.

Had a booner spike go by about 20 minutes ago lol... He was on the prowl for any hot doe....
