Got a small doe feeding in the pasture in front of me. Seems to be alone.

Had to wait on 4 doe to go by and see if anything was trailing them.... longest 20 minutes as I had a turtle poking its head out...
Mad dash to the truck, downloaded and moved to another stand in the timber.... Haven't stepped foot in this section since August....
should be some good travel routes to and from the corn....

Just had a doe and yearling come right under my tree. I have no clue where they came from. If they wouldn't have snuck up on me I would have shot momma.

Serious lull in my area, all the activity on cam has gone almost completely nocturnal. I've been skunked for four straight sits now. I haven't even seen my reliable BB buddies lately. Not sure what caused this all the sudden but hunting isn't much fun right now. Just got to keep after it I guess, but it's definitely more fun seeing deer

Had a doe bedded 60 yards behind my stand when I walked in. She snuck by right at daybreak, kept some cover between us, no shot (trimmed a couple lanes after I got down). A few minutes after she went by I noticed 2 more back there. They slipped out into a winter wheat field. Around 9:00 I rattled in a unicorn. I think the deer gods meant for him to be a button, but he defied them and grew one spike on his left side. I almost shot him since this would be the first buck I rattled in... lol.
Spotted another buck slipping through the woods on my walk out.

Hunted this morning looking for a buck. A little before 8 three does came in and one started getting nervous. She smelled around a while and finally looked right up at me in the stand so I decided to shoot her. 10 yard broadside shot so I aimed a little high to compensate for the angle. I got a good pass through and she took off. Gave her some time before climbing down and checking my arrow, good blood on it but there was no other blood to be found in the area. It took me 20 yards to find the first blood but there was only 5 drops then it completely stopped. I looked for 2 hours then my little brother came out to help. Not one more drop of blood until my brother picked up a few drops nearly 100 yards from the stand. The problem was it led right into private property. We drove around trying to locate the landowner and some neighbors let us know who's farm it was. We went to the farm but nobody was home. I got home and found the landowners phone number online and tried to call several times but got no answer. I shot the deer at 8 this morning, how long will the meat last in this heat? If I were able to contact the landowner this evening would the meat be spoiled?
