Ohio 2016 Rut Report. County? Conditions?

Seen lots of smaller bucks this morning while I was cruising with my daughter. Didn't see any shooters and only a couple Does with fawns. Can't make it out tonight but tomorrow is a go for sure

Cruised all morning from daybreak til 11. There are bucks everywhere with Does. This was the busiest morning for Bucks I have seen in a really long time. Seen 3 different shooters at properties I have stands on. Should be an eventful night and weekend

Had a good day in the woods. Still haven't seen all hell break loose, but it's gotta be happening somewhere. Put about 6 hours of stand time in this morn. Saw three younger bucks, not a single doe. Changed properties for afternoon and saw a lot of does and 1 nice one. He was pretty relaxed, but on his feet early none the less. Pushed a couple does out of some thick stuff. Didn't see any dogging

Saw 5 bucks (spike, 3, 5, 8, & 10) and 3 does today in Jeff Co. Does are in hiding in fear of harassment and rape.
Just drove home from work, Columbus > Athens. Multiple bucks with does seen along the way. Hope to get in my stand tomorrow am.
Heading to kids football just watched 3 bucks chasing 1 hot doe in my field. All 3 were shooters!? Can't wait to get in the woods.
Killed my 8 point last night at 5:30 while he was tagging a doe. Walked to my stand and climbed the tree at 3:00. Got settled in and noticed antlers in the brush about 40 yards from my stand. I noticed another deer walking around a few yards from him. The buck finally got up and started chasing the doe about 3:20. He for sure had ladies on his mind since he let me walk to my stand without noticing me. He chased and grunted for the rest of the evening around my stand but was always out of bow range through the brush. Several attempts to call him failed as he could have cared less if I would have jumped from the tree and yelled at him. The doe finally brought him by my stand at 15 yards. Needless to say things are heating up here in Union County!! Can't wait to travel south in a couple weeks for the youth hunt and help out the youngsters on the farm.
So far no activity to report... I'd say we here in NE Ohio aren't quite there yet... Well at least my neck of the woods....

Adams County- Saw a 6 following a doe, and 2 different 8's. All in the morning between 7:30-12:00. Doesn't seem to be a lot of chasing/activity yet.
