Saw 6 doe and 2 bucks (1.5 yr olds) in the first hour. The bucks spared 40 yards away.

Just watched a huge Coppers hawk try to get a squirrel. He is hunting also so now it is real quiet

My #1 that I missed on 11/6 made an appearance today. I caught him sneaking out of his bed not 60 yards from my truck as I walked out from this mornings hunt.

Been pretty slow out,does,fawns a few small bucks one descent one with a broken beam.
Ready for some late season hunting in the snow.

I went back out at 4pm w/ the G.Blind & about 5:15 I had a mature doe come in from my back left. As she got closer, she could tell something wasn't right with the pine branches I had moved around to cover my side. With barking dogs in the background, I could hear something else walking around from where she came. She got to within 10 yards as she worked her way around to my front before jumping back a bit. She stomped around a bit before continuing thru the saplings out further in front. It was getting darker by then & I did spy antlers & head looking my way where I last saw her, before he continued on.
